Description:
Feature story created for coverage of the 20th Annual Gene Stallings RISE Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the tournament ($200,000) support the Rise School on the UA Campus. The Rise School is a birth to pre-K school for children with special needs.
The package was one of seven that aired during the one-hour RISE Special on WVUA-TV in May, 2015. The one-hour special aired live from the golf course during the tournament. This package could utilize more b-roll of RISE students, parents, staff, and volunteers if it were a stand alone story. As these b-roll elements were used extensively throughout the one-hour special, we chose not to include them as much in the package.
